Puss in Boots (PG)
This swashbuckling cat adventure is
proof positive that fairytale movies
can be as delightfully fun for the
grown-ups as it is for the kids.
Action. Danger. Romance. You’ll find it all with Puss in
Boots as the story of one of Shrek’s eventual sidekicks
is told. You see, the valiant feline had a rich and
adventurous life before teaming with an ogre and
donkey. With voices provided by Antonio Banderas
(Puss In Boots), Salma Hayek (Kitty Softpaws), Zach
Galifinakis (Humpty Dumpy) and Billy Bob Thornton
(Jack), the story is a delightfully daring tale of rescue,
chivalry and betrayal.
Hop (PG)
We’ve always believed that when it
comes to holiday movies the Easter
Bunny was underrepresented.
Fred (James Marsden), is an out-of-work
slacker who happens to sideswipe the Easter Bunny
(voiced by Hugh Laurie) while driving. Understanding
the gravity of his carelessness, he takes the Easter Bunny
into his home to recuperate. Unfortunately, the heir to
the throne, E.B. (voiced by Russell Brand), has no interest
in hopping around delivering goodies to kids on Easter.
He would rather be a rock and roll star. Interestingly,
Fred turns to David Hasselhoff (playing himself) as a
reality show host of Hoff Knows Talent. Plenty of sweet
treats for the whole family.
