FKE MoU Signing with Tokyo
Denki University

On the 10th August 2016, Faculty of Electrical
Engineering (FKE), Universiti Teknologi MARA
(UTIM) received a visit from delegates of Tokyo
Denki University (TDU), Japan, in conjunction
with a memorandum of understanding (MoU)
signing ceremony between the two institutions.
The visit was organised by Center of
Communication Engineering Studies (CECES) of
FKE. TDU was represented by Prof. Dr. Hiroshi
Yasuda, President of TDU, and Prof. Dr.
Takehiko Kobayashi, Director of International
Center of TDU.

Majlis Menandatangani MoU Antara
UiTM - Tokyo Denki Universiti (TDU), Jepun
Prior to the signing ceremony, TDU delegates visited UITM's
Vice Chancellor office, where a short discussion was held with
Prof. Emeritus Dato' Dr. Hassan Said, the Vice Chancellor of
UITM. After the short meeting,
both parties signed the MoU in a
ceremony held at the Chancellery
Building. This MoU is hoped to
strengthen, promote and develop
international and research
cooperation between the parties
in terms of promoting institutional
exchanges between faculty and
staff, starting-off with joint
research in Microwave
Engineering and Information
Engineering. Other areas of
cooperation includes promotion of
undergraduate and graduate
students exchange, coorganization
of symposium,
conferences, short courses and
meetings on research related
issues. At the same event, we also
had the privilege to organize a
special lecture from the President
of TDU, Prof. Dr. Hiroshi Yasuda,
entitled "Future Prospects in the
Era of Web 3.0".
