The true to life representation
of everyday life for
indigenous Antiguans and
Barbudans when our main
industry was sugar cane,
gives much insight into
the level of ingenuity and
self-sufficiency that existed
when the Antigua and Barbuda
was in its infancy.
The village was complemented
with a variety of arts
and crafts created by local
craftsmen and women, as
well as local cuisine.
Minister of Culture, Honourable
E.P. Chet Greene
was excited to lift the veil
from some of the history that
seemed to have been lost in
the chasm of time.
He continues to underscore
the importance of
knowing and appreciating
the history of Antigua and
Barbuda in paving the way
for a solid future.
