To explain this even briefly means to consider<br />
that if God gave His Son because He loved <strong>the</strong><br />
world and wished to free His children from sin, it is<br />
only reasonable to believe that He has a profound<br />
interest in seeing <strong>the</strong> "end" come. If this "end" is<br />
dependent upon something that God must do, <strong>the</strong><br />
dilemma immediately presents itself as to why He<br />
has not already done what He will eventually do<br />
for surely His heart must be torn as He sees <strong>the</strong><br />
human race wallow in <strong>the</strong> mire of sin and<br />
suffering.<br />
But more than this. If Jesus is <strong>the</strong> divine<br />
Bridegroom and His church is <strong>the</strong> Bride, every<br />
evidence which man is able to understand in such a<br />
nuptial relationship points to <strong>the</strong> fact that Jesus<br />
must have an inexpressible longing to have His<br />
Bride with Him. Therefore if <strong>the</strong>re is anything<br />
fur<strong>the</strong>r that He could have done, He would have<br />
done it.<br />
Added to this, if <strong>the</strong> Spirit of Prophecy is<br />
