of God's character is because of His manifest faith<br />

in man. This provides an equation befitting <strong>the</strong><br />

cosmic battle between truth and error. It means that<br />

God's faith in man expresses His righteousness<br />

while man's faith in God expresses his<br />

righteousness. This provides <strong>the</strong> practical result of<br />

cleansing <strong>the</strong> sanctuary. This mutual faith supplies<br />

<strong>the</strong> bond of love that precedes <strong>the</strong> marriage of <strong>the</strong><br />

divine Bridegroom to His Bride, <strong>the</strong> church. This is<br />

<strong>the</strong> reason He continues to knock at <strong>the</strong> door of His<br />

Bride, even though to a large degree His love has<br />

thus far been spurned. His love confirms His<br />

righteousness which constrains Him to persist, and<br />

when <strong>the</strong> Bride responds without reserve, <strong>the</strong> "faith<br />

of Jesus" will have been verified.<br />

The daily service in <strong>the</strong> earthly sanctuary was<br />

for <strong>the</strong> recording of sin, a kind of continual<br />

intercession. The once-in-a-year Day of Atonement<br />

was for <strong>the</strong> blotting out of sins and for banishing<br />

<strong>the</strong>m to <strong>the</strong> wilderness. It remained for <strong>the</strong> sin of<br />
