terminal equipment conducted by the U.S. <strong>Army</strong> Signal School, as the result of contract training or equivalent civilian schooling.<br />

c. Restrictions. For use with MOS 250N.<br />

4W Underwater Special Forces USAJFKSWC<br />

a.Description of positions. For use with MOS 180A or 921A <strong>and</strong> require qualification in military free fall special operations.<br />

b. Qualifications. Awarded to warrant officer Special Operations Technicians (MOS 180A) who have successfully completed the <strong>Army</strong> Underwater<br />

Operations (SCUBA Assisted) Course conducted by the U.S. <strong>Army</strong> JFK Special Warfare Center.<br />

c. Restrictions. For use with MOS 180A. This ASI is prohibited for classification of females.<br />

4X <strong>Military</strong> Free Fall Special Forces USAJFKSWC<br />

a. Description of positions. Positions are coded 180A or 921A <strong>and</strong> require qualification in military free fall special operations.<br />

b. Qualifications. Must be classified in MOS 180A, Special Operations Technician or MOS 921A, Airdrop Systems Technician. Additionally, must<br />

successfully complete basic airborne training <strong>and</strong> the <strong>Military</strong> Free Fall Parachutist Course.<br />

c. Restrictions. For use with MOS 180A. Also for use with MOS 921A if in a position at the U.S. <strong>Army</strong> Airborne Board. This ASI may be awarded<br />

to females if classified in MOS 921A.<br />

6B General Safety Technician (Gen Safety Tech) (For National Guard only) USASC<br />

a. Description of positions. For use with warrant officer MOS to identify those <strong>Army</strong> National Guard TDA positions which require assignment of<br />

warrant officers who are qualified General Safety.<br />

b. Qualifications. Awarded to warrant officers who have successfully completed current certification requirements as per NGR 385–10.<br />

c. Restrictions. For use with MOS 915A only.<br />

6D PATRIOT Direct Support/General Support Maintenance Technician (PATRIOT DS/GS<br />

USAOMMCS<br />

Maint Tech<br />

a. Description of positions. For use with MOS 916A positions which require qualification in the direct support/general support maintenance of PA-<br />

TRIOT missile systems.<br />

b. Qualifications. Awarded to MOS 916A, HIMAD DS/GS Maintenance Technician, who have successfully completed the PATRIOT DS/GS Maintenance<br />

Technician Course at the U.S. <strong>Army</strong> Ordnance Missile <strong>and</strong> Munitions Center <strong>and</strong> School (USAOMMCS) Training Detachment, Ft Bliss, TX<br />

or upon successful completion of the enlisted MOS 27X PATRIOT System Repairer Course with approval of the Comm<strong>and</strong>er, USAOMMCS.<br />

6M<br />

a. Description of positions. Identifies positions in organizations from Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) down to installation level involved in<br />

planning <strong>and</strong> executing mobilization <strong>and</strong> demobilization operations.<br />

b. Qualifications. Must successfully complete the resident Mobilization <strong>and</strong> Deployment Planning Course (MDPC) at the Joint Strategic Deployment<br />

Training Center (JSDTC), U.S. <strong>Army</strong> Transportation School, Ft Eustis, VA.<br />

c. Restrictions. None.<br />

6P Master Fitness Trainer USAIS<br />

a. Description of positions. No position classification is required.<br />

b. Qualifications. Must successfully complete the Master Fitness Trainer Course (4 weeks for active <strong>Army</strong>) or (2 weeks for reserve components)<br />

conducted under the auspices of the U.S. <strong>Army</strong> Physical Fitness School, Ft Benning, Georgia. Formal training is m<strong>and</strong>atory.<br />

c. Restrictions. None.<br />

9A Defense Sensor Interpretation <strong>and</strong> Application Training Program (DSIATP) Technician<br />

(DSIATP Tech)<br />

Office Chief of <strong>Military</strong> Intelligence<br />

a. Description of positions. For use with MOS 350D to identify a requirement for a graduate of the DSIATP.<br />

b. Qualifications. Awarded to warrant officers who successfully complete the Defense Sensor Interpretation <strong>and</strong> Application Training Program.<br />

c. Restrictions. For use with MOS 350D.<br />

9C Tactical Exploitation of National Capabilities Operations Technician (TENCAP Op Tech) Office Chief of <strong>Military</strong> Intelligence<br />

a. Description of positions. For use with MOSs 350B, 350D, 352C, <strong>and</strong> 352J to identify systems operations positions that require knowledge,<br />

training, <strong>and</strong> experience in TENCAP systems <strong>and</strong> capabilities.<br />

b. Qualifications. Must satisfy one of the following:<br />

(1) Successfully complete the TENCAP Operations Course, USAICS, Ft Huachuca, AZ, <strong>and</strong> system-specific training at either USAICS, Ft<br />

Huachuca, AZ, or USAISD, Ft Devens, MA.<br />

(2) For warrant officers involved in research, development, <strong>and</strong> acquisition activities requiring contractor training on future prototype equipment,<br />

be nominated by the Director, <strong>Army</strong> Space Program Office.<br />
