Warrant Officer Entry Course<br />

Warrant Officer Technical Certification<br />

Course<br />

A course designed to verify that a warrant<br />

o f f i c e r c a n d i d a t e h a s s u c c e s s f u l l y d e m o n -<br />

strated a sound level of technical <strong>and</strong> tactical<br />

competence in the MOS of application.<br />

Warrant Officer Training System (WOTS)<br />

A warrant officer entry level, "triple check"<br />

p r e a p p o i n t m e n t e v a l u a t i o n / t r a i n i n g p r o c e s s<br />

which requires selection by centralized board<br />

(PERSCOM, ARPERCOM, State Adjutants<br />

General), successful completion of a Warrant<br />

Officer Entry Course (WOEC), <strong>and</strong> technical<br />

certification by the MOS proponent.<br />

WO (Warrant Officer)<br />

A grade code used in requirement <strong>and</strong> authorization<br />

documents to identify warrant officer<br />

skill level one. WO consists of grades<br />

W1 <strong>and</strong> W2.<br />
