1 The positions included in the generic tables are not inclusive of all units. They are used as guidelines for positions that exist within a unit.<br />

2 XO positions in CS <strong>and</strong> CSS companies can be authorized only under AR 570-2.<br />

3 Grades are based on the criteria established in chapter 5 of this regulation.<br />

A Graded CPT when materiel officer or comparable position is MAJ.<br />

B Higher grade only with approval by HQDA in writing for specified AV, EN, FA, MI, MS, QM, OD, <strong>and</strong> SF units.<br />

C Graded MAJ when requiring a Medical Corps or Dental Corps officer in comm<strong>and</strong>.<br />

D Medical Air Ambulance Companies or Detachments will be graded MAJ.<br />

E Graded CPT when comm<strong>and</strong>er is graded MAJ.<br />

F One grade higher in Special Operations Assault Helicopter Battalion.<br />

G Graded MAJ in Fwd Spt Co (SOSB) Abn.<br />
