Identifies positions which require special qualifications in developing medical facilities planning concepts and criteria and translates medical requirements to engineering and architectural concepts. Provides facilities planning services to appropriate commanders. b. Qualification. For award of skill, officer should possess, as a minimum, 1 year of experience in Health Facilities Planning, plus a master’s degree in health facilities planning, architecture, engineering, construction or logistics management, health care administration with courses related to health facilities planning, from a school acceptable to DA; or, 5 years cumulative experience in positions in Health Facilities Planning. When the requirement for a master’s degree plus 1 year of experience is waived for the 5 years of experience, the individual must be academically eligible for graduate level education in Health Facilities Planning or noted related disciplines. c.
