<strong>and</strong> personnel. Supervises PMCS on assigned vehicles,<br />

power generators, <strong>and</strong> TMDE.<br />

(4) MOSC 74G4O. Supervises <strong>and</strong> manages personnel performing<br />

operations <strong>and</strong> maintenance of computerized information management<br />

systems <strong>and</strong> associated equipment. Develops <strong>and</strong> enforces<br />

policy <strong>and</strong> procedures for facility <strong>and</strong> network management. Determines<br />

capabilities <strong>and</strong> limitations of assigned equipment. Organizes<br />

work schedules <strong>and</strong> instructs subordinate personnel in the technical<br />

maintenance of computers used in Signal support operations. Writes<br />

unit or station st<strong>and</strong>ing operating procedures (SOP). Arranges higher<br />

level or contractor support maintenance for assigned equipment.<br />

Assists <strong>and</strong> trains operators on teams <strong>and</strong> shifts.<br />

b. Physical dem<strong>and</strong>s rating <strong>and</strong> qualifications for initial award of<br />

M O S . T e l e c o m m u n i c a t i o n s C o m p u t e r O p e r a t o r - M a i n t a i n e r s m u s t<br />

possess the following qualifications:<br />

(1) A physical dem<strong>and</strong>s rating of heavy.<br />

(2) A physical profile of 111221.<br />

(3) Normal color vision.<br />

(4) Minimum scores of 110 in aptitude area EL <strong>and</strong> 100 in<br />

aptitude area ST.<br />

(5) A security clearance of TOP SECRET with eligibility for<br />

access to sensitive compartmented information (SCI).<br />

(6) Credit for successful completion of one year of high school<br />

algebra <strong>and</strong> general science.<br />

(7) A U.S citizen.<br />

(8) M<strong>and</strong>atory formal training (completion of MOS 74G Course<br />

conducted at the U.S. <strong>Army</strong> Signal School). Waiver may be granted<br />

by the Comm<strong>and</strong>ant, U.S. <strong>Army</strong> Signal Center, ATTN: ATZH-POE,<br />

Fort Gordon, GA 30905-5300.<br />

CMF 74<br />

a. Major duties. Information systems chief supervises, plans coordinates<br />

<strong>and</strong> directs the employment, operation, management, <strong>and</strong><br />

unit level maintenance of multi-functional/multi-user information<br />

processing systems in mobile <strong>and</strong> fixed facilities; provides technical<br />

<strong>and</strong> tactical advice to comm<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> staff concerning all aspects of<br />

information processing system operations, maintenance, <strong>and</strong> logistical<br />

support. Supervises installation, operation, strapping, restrapping,<br />

PMCS <strong>and</strong> unit level maintenance on COMSEC devices. Conducts<br />

briefings on the status, relationship, <strong>and</strong> interface of information<br />

processing systems within assigned area of interest. Supervises or<br />

prepares technical studies, evaluations, reports, correspondence, <strong>and</strong><br />

records pertaining to multi-functional/multi-user information processing<br />

systems. Plans, organizes, <strong>and</strong> conducts technical inspections.<br />

Supervises development of the information systems plans (ISP),<br />

information management plan (IMP), <strong>and</strong> information management<br />

m a s t e r p l a n ( I M M P ) . R e v i e w s , c o n s o l i d a t e s , a n d f o r w a r d s f i n a l<br />

w r i t t e n i n p u t f o r t h e c o n t i n u i t y o f o p e r a t i o n s p l a n ( C O O P ) .<br />

Develops <strong>and</strong> enforces policy <strong>and</strong> procedures for facility operations<br />

<strong>and</strong> management. Enforces information security (INFOSEC), operations<br />

security (OPSEC), <strong>and</strong> physical security per regulations <strong>and</strong><br />

policies. Prepares or supervises the preparation of technical studies,<br />

evaluations, reports, correspondence, software programs, program<br />

editing, debugging, <strong>and</strong> associated functions; <strong>and</strong> maintains records<br />

pertaining to information system operations. Briefs staff <strong>and</strong> operations<br />

personnel on information systems matters.<br />

unit soldiers on personnel matters. Duties for MOS 75B at each<br />

level of skill are:<br />

(1) MOSC 75B1O. Prepares <strong>and</strong> processes recommendations for<br />

awards <strong>and</strong> decorations <strong>and</strong> arranges for awards ceremony. Prepares,<br />

updates, <strong>and</strong> coordinates requests for evaluations, to include<br />

responding to evaluation inquiries. Prepares <strong>and</strong> monitors requests<br />

for promotions <strong>and</strong> arranges for promotion ceremony, to include<br />

promotion declinations, reconsideration for promotions, <strong>and</strong> arrange<br />

for reduction <strong>and</strong> removal boards for soldiers on local promotion<br />

st<strong>and</strong>ing lists. Prepares <strong>and</strong> monitors requests for reductions, transfers,<br />

<strong>and</strong> discharges. Prepares <strong>and</strong> monitors requests for identification<br />

cards <strong>and</strong> tags, leaves, <strong>and</strong> passes, line of duty determination,<br />

MILPER data <strong>and</strong> information management, orders for temporary<br />

duty <strong>and</strong> travel, personnel processing, personnel security clearances,<br />

training <strong>and</strong> reassignment, retention, military <strong>and</strong> special pay programs,<br />

personnel accounting <strong>and</strong> strength management, transition<br />

processing, legal, meal cards, training soldier support file, <strong>and</strong> unit<br />

administration. Prepares SIDPERS input <strong>and</strong> control data, generates<br />

SIDPERS input that applies to unit level, reads interprets, <strong>and</strong> reconciles<br />

SIDPERS generated reports pertinent to unit level, determines<br />

reportable changes, category, duty status codes, <strong>and</strong> other<br />

documentation required for SIDPERS transactions. Prepares personnel<br />

accounting <strong>and</strong> strength management. Applies knowledge of<br />

provisions <strong>and</strong> limitations of Freedom of Information <strong>and</strong> Privacy<br />

Acts. Requisitions <strong>and</strong> maintains office supplies, blank forms, <strong>and</strong><br />

publications. Types military <strong>and</strong> nonmilitary correspondence in draft<br />

<strong>and</strong> final copy. Prepares <strong>and</strong> maintains functional files per MARKS.<br />

(2) MOSC 75B2O. Performs duties shown at preceding skill level<br />
