10–150. 52F—Turbine Engine Driven Generator Repairer
(TEDG Rep), CMF 63
a. Major duties. The turbine engine driven generator repairer
performs and supervises unit, direct support and general support
(DS/GS) maintenance functions, including overhaul (but not rebuild)
of turbine engine driven tactical generator sets, turbine engine prime
mover of tactical generator set and associated equipment. Duties for
MOS 52F at each skill level are:
(1) MOSC 52F1O. Performs unit and DS/GS maintenance of
turbine driven generators and associated items such as the Aviation
G r o u n d P o w e r U n i t ( A G P U ) , M e d i c a l U n i t S e l f - C o n t a i n e d
Transportable (MUST), Electric Power Plant II (EPP II) and generator
set Aviation 10KW 28V (10/28).
(2) MOSC 52F2O. Perform duties in preceding skill level, supervises
lower grade soldiers and provides technical guidance to the
soldiers in the accomplishment of their duties. Repairs or overhauls
components and assemblies, such as starters, turbine driven generators,
fuel pumps, exciters, voltage regulators, governors, switches,
and control circuits, etc.
(3) MOSC 52F3O. Perform duties in preceding skill levels, supervises
lower grade soldiers and provides technical guidance to the
soldiers in the accomplishment of their duties. Supervises activities
of a section performing unit or DS/GS maintenance on turbine
engine driven generator sets, Aviation Ground Power Unit (AGPU),
Medical Unit Self-Contained and Transportable (MUST), Electric
Power Plant II (EPP II), and generator set Aviation 10KW 28V (10/
28).
b. Physical demands rating and qualifications for initial award of
MOS. Turbine engine driven generator repairers must possess the
followingqualifications:
(1) A physical demands rating of very heavy.
(2) A physical profile of 221121.
(3) Normal color vision.
(4) A minimum score of 100 in aptitude area GM.
(5) Formal training (completion of MOS 52F course conducted
u n d e r t h e a u s p i c e s o f t h e U S A O r d n a n c e C e n t e r a n d S c h o o l )
mandatory.

10–151. 52G—Transmission and Distribution Specialist
(Reserve Components) (Trans and Dist Sp), CMF 51
a. Major duties. The transmission and distribution specialist supervises
or installs and maintains electrical distribution systems;
performs duties as a member of a transmission and distribution
team. Duties for MOS 52G at each level of skill are:
(1) MOSC 52G1O. Assists in installation of electrical transmission
and distribution systems and exterior services. Assists in the
erection of utility poles; and, installs guys, anchors, crossarms, conductors,
insulators, and other hardware. Installs and connects service
drops and conduits on deenergized systems.
(2) MOSC 52G2O. Installs and maintains electrical transmission
and distribution systems. Tests circuits and components to isolate

malfunctions and repair defects. Performs scheduled and emergency
inspections and repairs of distribution systems and equipment. Assists
in maintenance, repair, calibration and tests of internal substation
equipment.
(3) MOSC 52G3O. Supervises installation of underground and
overhead electrical distribution systems. Supervises staging of material
andconstruction and maintenance equipment. Maintains and uses
special purpose safety equipment and tools employed for electrical
construction and maintenance. Ensures proper safety and clearance
procedures are followed.
(4) MOSC 52G4O. Plans and supervises construction and maintenance
of electrical transmission and distribution systems. Estimates
manpower, equipment, and material requirements for electrical construction.
Advises on electrical construction and maintenance procedures
and capabilities.
b. Physical demands rating and qualifications for initial award of
MOS. Transmission and distribution specialists must possess the
followingqualifications:
(1) A physical demands rating of very heavy.
(2) A physical profile of 111221.
(3) Normal color vision.
(4) A minimum score of 95 in aptitude area EL.
(5) Mandatory formal training or meet the civilian acquired skills
criteria listed in AR 601-210.
