Gospel in Galatians as a response to Butler's <strong>The</strong><br />

Law in Galatians. <strong>The</strong> fact that Waggoner's view<br />

aroused consternation even before 1888 is evident:<br />

<strong>The</strong>se texts (Galatians 4:4; Romans 8:3;<br />

Philippians 2:5-7; Hebrews 2:9) show that Christ<br />
