KS_Is Banga a foil only for the Pro circuit?
PP_Absolutely not. We sell very well to the general
public too; we have customers all over the
world from Australia to the USA, from Denmark
to South Africa. Banga is very easy to use, so
every rider can have one and have fun.
KS_After the boom in the past two years and
the foilboard more and more present even in
the quiver of sports enthusiasts, how do you
see the development of your foil outside the
professional sport competitions?
PP_We are working on a freeride version and
hopefully we will be able to talk about it soon.
KS_The Foil Kite world is constantly evolving,
on what does the research and development
team mainly focuses its efforts? Choice of
the materials? Advanced applied engineering?
PP_I believe that this is only the beginning of a fascinating
world. We work in different directions,
and for sure, the most important aspect is the
design of the foil, the profile, and the geometries.
The materials are equally important, therefore
although our consumption is reduced, we work
with various companies to have what’s best on
the market.
