CHAPTER THIRTEEN
The Birth of Véracandra Prabhu and
Disappearance of Lord Nityänanda
Lord Nityänanda enjoyed unlimited and inconceivable
pastimes at Ambikä-kälnä. In spite of manifesting so
many pastimes, no one could recognize Him, as fish are unable
to see the moon reflected on the surface of the ocean.
Once, Lord Nityänanda thought, “I will build an äçrama
at Khaòadaha to follow the orders of My Lord. I will open up a
marketplace for distributing the holy names of the Lord.”
After contemplating in this way, Nityänanda Prabhu went
to Khaòadaha to manifest His pastimes. He followed the principles
of household life and manifested the service of the Deity,
Çré Çyämasundara.
Çré Jähnavä and Çré Vasudhä constantly worshiped the lotus
feet of Nityänanda. The Lord empowered them with His energies.
He enjoyed various pastimes with both consorts, fulfilling
their hearts’ desires. The happiness of Jähnavä and Vasudhä knew
no bounds, for they had Nityänanda Prabhu as their husband.
