Lord Nityänanda Breaks Mahäprabhu’s Sannyäsa-daëòa
make Me mad. If You continue Your mischief, it will be just like
killing Me. Whatever You had wanted Me to do, I did. That is a
fact and I tell this to everyone.”
Lord Gauracandra then instructed everyone to be extremely
careful in their dealings with Nityänanda. The Lord said, “Nityänanda
is more dear to Me than My very life. I boldly declare
this. The love and devotion of anyone who commits offenses at
the lotus feet of Nityänanda will certainly be checked. There
is no fault of Mine in this regard. Anyone who maintains even
the slightest envy towards Nityänanda, although he may be My
devotee, he is not dear to Me.”
Hearing His own praise, Nityänanda Mahäçaya felt shy and
did not raise His head. All the devotees, however, felt great joy
upon hearing the Lord’s words. Such are the pastimes of the son
of Çacé.
Accepting Çré Caitanya and Nityänanda Prabhu as my life
and soul, I, Våndävana däsa, sing the glories of Their lotus feet.
