and the origin of pure devotional service. You are everything to<br />
Çré Caitanya. You are the omnipotent Personality of Godhead.<br />
“You are the companion, friend, resting place, umbrella,<br />
and life and soul of Çré Caitanya. No one is dearer to Kåñëa<br />
than You. You are the origin of all the incarnations of Çré<br />
Gauracandra.<br />
“O Lord, You deliver the fallen souls and You destroy the<br />
lives of the atheists. You always protect the Vaiñëavas and You<br />
teach everyone the principles of Vaiñëavism. By Your mercy,<br />
Lord Brahmä creates the universe. Your consorts, Revaté and<br />
Väruëé, eternally serve you. You are the original cause of everything,<br />
yet You are aloof from all things. You hold the Lord of<br />
countless universes on Your chest. Your transcendental body,<br />
the reservoir of all happiness, is as soft as the petals of lotus<br />
flowers. Lord Kåñëa enjoys His pastimes within Your body. I<br />
harmed Your transcendental body and so there is none more<br />
sinful than I. Shame on me! Shame on me!<br />
“Lord Çiva, and Pärvaté, as well as millions of chaste<br />
women, worship Your transcendental form as their very life.<br />
Worshiping Your form destroys one’s material bondage. It is<br />
I who injured Your body. By adoring Your divine form, King<br />
Citraketu became the foremost Vaiñëava and thus live a happy<br />
and prosperous life. People in innumerable universes meditate<br />
upon Your transcendental body. I am so sinful; I tried to<br />
harm Your body. Service to Your divine form freed the sages<br />
at Naimiñäraëya, headed by Çaunaka, from material bondage.<br />
Being envious of this body, Indrajit was destroyed. Being envious<br />
of this body, Dvivida was killed. Jaräsandha was destroyed<br />
because of offenses to this body. Because I cut this body, I have<br />
no hope for good fortune.<br />
“What to speak of wounding You, simply because of insulting<br />
Your transcendental personality, You crushed Rukmé, the<br />
brother-in-law of Lord Kåñëa. Romaharñaëa Süta, who had a<br />
lifespan equal to Lord Brahmä, disregarded You by not welcoming<br />
You and was burnt to ashes. By insulting You, King Duryodhana<br />
was killed, along with his entire family. By providence,<br />
renowned devotees could easily know You as the cause of all<br />
causes. Queen Kunté, Yudhiñöhira, Bhiñma, Vidura and Arjuna<br />
