observance of the laws of health as a matter of<br />

sacrifice or self-denial, they will regard it, as it<br />

really is, as an inestimable blessing.<br />

Every gospel worker should feel that the giving<br />

of instructi<strong>on</strong> in the principles of healthful living is<br />

a part of his appointed work. Of this work there is<br />

great need, and the world is open for it.—The<br />

Govern the Body<br />

Life is a gift of God. Our bodies have been given<br />

us to use in God’s service, and He desires that we<br />

shall care for and appreciate them. We are<br />

possessed of physical as well as mental faculties.<br />

Our impulses and passi<strong>on</strong>s have their seat in the<br />

body, and therefore we must do nothing that would<br />

defile this entrusted possessi<strong>on</strong>. Our bodies must<br />

be kept in the best possible c<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong> physically,<br />

and under the most spiritual influences, in order<br />
