Bearing Witness to the Truth<br />

Our sanitariums are to be established for <strong>on</strong>e<br />

object—the proclamati<strong>on</strong> of the truth for this time.<br />

And they are to be so c<strong>on</strong>ducted that a decided<br />

impressi<strong>on</strong> in favor of the truth will be made <strong>on</strong> the<br />

minds of those who come to them for treatment.<br />

The c<strong>on</strong>duct of each worker is to tell <strong>on</strong> the side of<br />

right. We have a warning message to bear to the<br />

world, and our earnestness, our devoti<strong>on</strong> to God’s<br />

service, are to bear witness to the truth.—<br />

Mind Cure<br />

The relati<strong>on</strong> that exists between the mind and the<br />

body is very intimate. When <strong>on</strong>e is affected, the<br />

other sympathizes. The c<strong>on</strong>diti<strong>on</strong> of the mind<br />

affects the health to a far greater degree than many<br />

realize. Many of the diseases from which men<br />

suffer are the result of mental depressi<strong>on</strong>. Grief,<br />

anxiety, disc<strong>on</strong>tent, remorse, guilt, distrust, all tend<br />

to break down the life forces and to invite decay<br />
