erecting an instituti<strong>on</strong> in which is to be carried<br />

forward a work of eternal c<strong>on</strong>sequence, and that, in<br />

doing this work, they are to be laborers together<br />

with God. “Looking unto Jesus” is ever to be our<br />

motto. And the assurance is, “I will instruct thee<br />

and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I<br />

will guide thee with Mine eye.” Psalm 32:8.<br />

Advantages of Wooden Structures<br />

Brick and st<strong>on</strong>e buildings are not the most<br />

desirable for a sanitarium, for they are generally<br />

cold and damp. It may be said that a brick building<br />

presents a much more attractive appearance, and<br />

that the building should be attractive. But we need<br />

roomy buildings; and if brick is too costly, we must<br />

build of wood. Ec<strong>on</strong>omy must be our study. This is<br />

a necessity, because of the greatness of the work<br />

that must be d<strong>on</strong>e in many lines in God’s moral<br />

vineyard.<br />

It has been suggested that patients will not feel<br />

safe from fire in a wooden structure. But if we are<br />

in the country, and not in the cities where buildings<br />
