which the living Fountain should occupy. The<br />

hungry, thirsty soul will c<strong>on</strong>tinue to hunger and<br />

thirst as l<strong>on</strong>g as it partakes of these unsatisfying<br />

pleasures. But those who drink of the living water<br />

will thirst no more for frivolous, sensual, exciting<br />

amusements. The ennobling principles of religi<strong>on</strong><br />

will strengthen the mental powers and will destroy<br />

a taste for these gratificati<strong>on</strong>s.<br />

Encourage One Another<br />

[The Review and Herald, August 8, 1907.] In<br />

the building of our sanitariums we must guard<br />

carefully against any unnecessary extravagance in<br />

our outlay of means. It is our duty to study<br />

simplicity. Yet there are a few places of special<br />

importance and influence where better<br />

accommodati<strong>on</strong>s and more room are needed than<br />

for sanitarium work in other places. The<br />

impressi<strong>on</strong> that we desire to be left up<strong>on</strong> the minds<br />

of the patients is that of the truths we teach rather<br />

than of the grandeur of the buildings.<br />

We have n<strong>on</strong>e too many sanitariums. There is<br />
