Redeemer. The thought of God will run like a<br />

thread of gold through all our homely cares and<br />

occupati<strong>on</strong>s. For us the glory of His face will again<br />

rest up<strong>on</strong> the face of nature. We shall ever be<br />

learning new less<strong>on</strong>s of heavenly truth and growing<br />

into the image of His purity. Thus shall we “be<br />

taught of the Lord,” and in the lot wherein we are<br />

called we shall “abide with God.”<br />

In August, 1901 while attending the Los Angeles<br />

camp meeting, I was, in the visi<strong>on</strong>s of the night, in<br />

a council meeting. The questi<strong>on</strong> under<br />

c<strong>on</strong>siderati<strong>on</strong> was the establishment of a sanitarium<br />

in Southern California. By some it was urged that<br />

this sanitarium should be built in the city of Los<br />

Angeles, and the objecti<strong>on</strong>s to establishing it out of<br />

the city were pointed out. Others spoke of the<br />

advantages of a country locati<strong>on</strong>.<br />

There was am<strong>on</strong>g us One who presented this<br />

matter very clearly and with the utmost simplicity.<br />
