Accessing <strong>and</strong> erasing<br />

The engine control module (ECM) fault memory can only be<br />

accessed <strong>and</strong> erased using diagnostic equipment<br />

connected to the data link connector (DLC).<br />

NOTE: Self-diagnosis output using 4-digit trouble codes<br />

may not display all available diagnostic information<br />

(early models).
