1997 +: The ECM fault memory can also be checked using<br />

diagnostic equipment connected to the data link connector<br />

(DLC).<br />

Accessing<br />

A 0,7 second pause separates each flash rn [B].<br />

A 3 second pause separates each trouble code rn [C].<br />

For example: <strong>Trouble</strong> codes 2 <strong>and</strong> 4 displayed H.<br />

<strong>Trouble</strong> codes are repeated 3 seconds after last trouble<br />

code €I [Dl.<br />

Count MIL flashes. Note trouble codes. Compare with<br />

trouble code table.<br />

Switch ignition OFF.<br />

Remove bridge wire.<br />

Rectify faults as necessary.<br />

1984-87<br />

Switch ignition ON.<br />

Bridge diagnostic socket terminals m.<br />

If no trouble codes are stored, the lamp will flash once every<br />

3 seconds O.<br />

Individual short flashes display trouble code €I.<br />

Warning lamp flash duration: 0,3 seconds rn [A].
