1 Engine management I<br />

Erasing<br />

Ensure ignition switched OFF.<br />

Bridge black data link connector (DLC) terminal 1 [A] <strong>and</strong><br />

brown data link connector (DLC) terminal 1 [B] with a<br />

switched lead - contacts normally open.<br />

Access trouble codes until flash code 4444 displayed.<br />

Operate switch for 4 seconds minimum.<br />

Release switch. Switch ignition OFF.<br />

Operate switch <strong>and</strong> hold.<br />

Switch ignition ON.<br />

Release switch after 4 seconds minimum to display flash<br />

code 4444.<br />

Operate switch for 4 seconds minimum. <strong>Fault</strong> memory<br />

erased.<br />

Repeat checking procedure to ensure no data remains in<br />

ECM fault memory.<br />
