ProChile is the institution of the Ministry<br />
of Foreign Affairs of Chile in charge of<br />
promoting exports of products and services.<br />
ProChile contributes to dissemination of<br />
foreign investment opportunities and tourism<br />
promotion.<br />
ProChile has a network of over 50 offices<br />
worldwide and 15 Export Centers in Chile<br />
which have experience and tools to help boost<br />
the export sector and position Chile’s attributes<br />
in international markets.<br />
In a globalized world with highly competitive<br />
markets, ProChile, in its role as trade facilitator<br />
is able to provide to international consumers<br />
a wide range of products and services from<br />
the most diverse sectors, including the<br />
audiovisual industry. ProChile presents business<br />
opportunities to thousands of international<br />

The National Audiovisual Fund supports<br />
Chilean Audiovisual Art and Audiovisual<br />
Industry in three main ways:<br />
· The annual selective program for<br />
audiovisual education, creation and<br />
distribution<br />
· The international programs for attendance<br />
at international festivals and markets<br />
· The Chilean Film Commission<br />

The Cultural Affairs Department<br />
(dirac) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs<br />
of Chile is responsible for disseminating,<br />
promoting and developing Chile´s cultural<br />
and artistic expressions abroad. This is done<br />
in accordance with the country´s Foreign<br />
Policy guidelines, in order to ensure the<br />
presence and the insertion of Chile in the<br />
main cultural circuits at a global level. These<br />
include festivals, biennial shows and fairs,<br />
among others high profile events and venues.<br />
Since 1994, dirac, through its Film Area,<br />
has been connected with and committed to<br />
the film industry, in a pioneering role for<br />
a governmental entity, allowing our great<br />
filmmakers to show their work in international<br />
circuits and film presentations, in collaboration<br />
with Chilean Embassies and Consulates. Today,<br />
dirac strengthens the work of new directors,<br />
especially in the Project Development and<br />
Work in Progress areas, thus fostering creation,<br />
production, expansion and enhancement<br />
of international visibility at all levels of the<br />
emerging film industry.<br />
