as Darwin shuts down at the end of the month there seems to be a little
bit money in someones pocket left which has to be given away. Now NoAM is
"lucky" to get the "look what we can" programming. And this fits to the
first availibilty of a DRM Receiver in the US.

Jan 03, good carrier, but very low audio. A few minutes later audio
improving considerably, in Russian, ID at 1202 UT as "Govorit Sukhumi
...", news, several reports, music and songs, no interferences, 35444.

GERMANY 9800 Sawtu Linjila, via Wertachtal, at *1830-1850 UT on Wed
Dec 30, s/on with sound of African instruments, talk in presumably
Fulfulde. Short music and greetings "Assalaam Aleikum" at 1843 UT,
another talk program, 45444-45343.
11830 Voice of Ethiopian Unity, via Nauen, at *1700-1729 UT on Wed
Dec 30, full ID "Yih Finote Demokrasi ye Ethiopia andinet dimts" in
Amharic, talk, an Ethiopian popular song, 45444-43443 sometimes
disturbed by heavy jamming.

GREECE Voice of Greece ERA-5 and ERT-3 regional service heard on three
channels again today Jan 22nd. 3rd tx at Avlis site was on repair since
Dec 27, 2009.
In 6-10 UT slot only two frequencies in use. ERA-5, The Voice of Greece,
ERT S.A., today Fri Jan 22, at 0800 UT ERA-5 in Greek language on both
9420 and 12105 kHz (not 15630 kHz).
9420 kHz S=9+20dB, 12105 kHz S=9+40dB powerhouse signal here in southern
Germany.
At 1150 UT noted three Greek language transmissions from Avlis.
ERA-5 on both 9420 kHz S=9+20dB and 15650 kHz S=9+10dB, and weakest signal
from Avlis site on ERT-3 regional Thessaloniki relay 9935 kHz with S=9
pure.

Today on Radio Filia carried Greek from tune
in at 0800 UT, until 0900 UT when the German half hour was heard. At the
end also 12105 kHz was heard. At 0933 UT Russian began.
These programs are not in // with 12105 kHz which also is heard here in
Copenhagen, but with QRM 0930-1045 UT from KTWR, Agat, Guam. Here at 0930
UT both 9420 and 15630 kHz are in // with 12105 kHz.
So, they seem to have got their 3rd tx running again.
