6145 - first seconds originate from KBS Relay Skelton-UK around
1958...1959 UT, then covered by CRI Polish via Issoudun France relay at
2000 UT.
I guess the Ukrainian RRT Telecomm. Concern people has not much
experience. At least selection and registration of RUI frequencies for
A-10 is on very bad level, like co-channel QRM on 6145 (QRM de CRI
Issoudun), 7440 (QRM de CRI Xian), 9420 (QRM de ERT Greece, CRI/CNR
Lingshi).
UNIDENTIFIED Unidentified French on 3289.25 kHz.
An unidentified broadcast in French, with a news-talk format was observed
on 3289.25 kHz on 16 July between 1907 and 1920 UT. The signal level was
poor, but generally better than I have heard previously with Madagascar's
90 metre outlet, which was on 3288 kHz // 5010 kHz when I last logged it
on 25 April at 1830 UT.
Madagascar 5010 was not on air at this time, with its scheduled signoff at
1900 UT, so unclear whether I was listening to an extended transmission
from Madagascar ... Any suggestions as to identity?
UNIDENTIFIED probably BRAZIL 12174, July 20 at 0523 UT, David Miranda,
the wacky wailing preacher of SRDA, poor signal vs CODAR, unstable carrier
with its own rumble, presumably the 11805 R. Globo transmitter totally out
of whack. However, inband 25mb Brazilians were not audible.
(Glenn Hauser-OK-USA, dxld July 20)
I was alluding to some previous reports from Brazilian DXers that the
source of the distorted broadcast signal in the 12+ MHz range was the
R. Globo, Rio, transmitter which was/is supposed to be on 11805 kHz. I
also heard it a few days before on approx. 12175 kHz. No, I never hear it
on 11805 kHz. We think 12175 kHz is not a spur of that but simply a
very mistuned transmitter.
24, unstable, slightly distorted but readable spurs from 11765 with
Portuguese preacher and some religious music. Spurs +/- 410 kHz away from
11765 kHz. Best in AM mode. Very weak // 9564.57. Fair signal on 11765.
(Brian Alexander-PA-USA, DXplorer July 24)
UNID probably Brazil Best reception of an distorted audio noted around
2305 UT July 20 close to 12174 kHz, best on LSB mode, S=6-7 fair signal.
