Excellent reception with English. Overview of upcoming hour, and then into Lady Gaga and Beonce. 9920 1344-, KNLS Jul 8 Excellent reception in Chinese, but with a frequent click noted. I don't think this is coming from my end as all my antennae are affected by this clicking. Apparently a story about Canada's abortion laws. At 13:58 gave a URL as then 'Bye,Bye'. I could hear FEBC Manilla underneath. Retuned to 7355 to hear them again at excellent level, and this time without any apparent clicking, with their IS and into Chinese again. Same www given as last hour. 11765 1700-, KNLS (not) Jul 7 Despite of information from the station, I heard neither the English broadcast at 12:00 nor the Russian broadcast at 17:00, so I guess they're still having issues to work out before the newer transmitter returns to the air. 11870 1148-, KNLS Jul 9 Chinese here at excellent strength. Sign-off announcements at 11:54. Transmitter cut just before 12:00, and switched to 7355 a few seconds later with IS and 'This is Alaska calling, The United States of America'. Also excellent. Lucy Grant host for this Friday edition. Broadcasting from the top of the world ... Rob Scobey is the cohost. Coast guard station from Kodiak and DX Corner to be presented. file:///Z|/DOKUMENTATION-BULLETINS/WWDXD-BCDX/2010/bcdx972.txt[11.06.2012 10:40:11]

Close of Pashto program with ID, into Dari, using BBC music stingers during news, English about downloading podcasts at 0159 UT "Wherever you are, you're with the BBC", into English, "The World Today". (Ralph Brandi-NJ-USA, DXplorer July 11) AUSTRALIA QSL Information - HCJB Australia Dear DX-friends all parts of the world, Hear is a piece of information on very unique QSL-card. The Japanese service of HCJB Australia is currently issuing different QSL-cards every month. These cards are not issued by the station HCJB in Melbourne, but by the Yodobashi Church in Tokyo. The address for reception reports would be mentioned at the end of this e-mail. Now, July edition of its QSL-card is featuring an DX-pedition held from 25th to 27th of last June. The participants of this DX-pedition are six Japanese men and held on a small island called "Katsurashima". You can see on this QSL card the group photograph of these participants taken near the pier of the ships. Front row left: Gakuji Masuo, right: Masao Hosoya / Back row from left: Shin-chi Shiraishi, Kazuhiko Iwasa, Nobuya Kato, and Koichiro Ito. This island, Katsurashima is located in the bay of Matsushima, near Sendai, one of the major cities in the Northeast of Japan and apart from Tokyo approximately 350 kilometers. As this island is under noise-free environment, so we hold DX-pedition once or twice every year. This QSL-card would be issued for the reception reports in July, but if you miss to receive the broadcast within July, I suggest that you ask the Yodobashi Church to issue the July edition even after the reports in August. Program schedule: Japanese service of HCJB Australia: 2230-2300 UT on 15525 kHz, Friday / Saturday only. The address for reception reports: HCJB c/o Yodobashi Church, 1-17-8 Hyakunin-cho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo 169-0073 JAPAN file:///Z|/DOKUMENTATION-BULLETINS/WWDXD-BCDX/2010/bcdx972.txt[11.06.2012 10:40:11]
