Leh 4760 - 59+20 dB this morning, heard regularly during mor/eve. Port Blair also heard here at 0000z onwards before Leh signs on at 0130z. H'bad 4800/Kolkata 4820/Chennai 4920 & few others - Co-ch qrm from China going on since ages. Several verbal/written complaints to AIR, nothing happened. Sri Nagar 4950 - 59+30 dB here last night. Heard regularly. Ranchi 4960/5985 - Off air since Oct 2006 Jammu 4830/5965 - Off air since Oct 2006 Kohima 4850 - Off air, heard only on special ocassions. Gangtok 4835 [4837.22v] - Off freq due to problem in synthesizer unit, Partha Sarathi from Siliguri spoke to the stn engineer y'day, expected to be rectified by this week. Kurseong 4895 - Was noted back on air after being off air due to repairs, not checked recently. (Alokesh Gupta-IND, DXindia July 8) INDONESIA 9525.9 Voice of Indonesia at 1307-1340 UT on July 9. Live coverage of some sort of Islamic commemoration live from the presidential palace; Koran recitations and talks; English interpretations by VoINS ancr; occasional breaks for pop music from the studio. Nauen site signals about one third second late ... Statt World Cup aus Suedafrika laeuft bei RNW heute eine Radsportsendung mit Sonderfrequenzen fuer die HOL Camper in Europa. Aus Rotterdam wird der Tour de France Prolog uebertragen. Die zwei Aussendungen auf 5955 und 9895 kHz aus Nauen sind eine gute Drittelsekunde hinterher. Die Wertachtal und Issoudun Sendungen sind synchron. 5955 NAU 500 210 S=9+40dB 7235 ISS 250 040 and 7235 ISS 250 065 S=9+20dB 9595 WER 250 300 S=9+15dB 9620 NAU 500 011 S=9+25dB 9895 NAU 500 230 S=9+15dB 13700 WER 500 120 and 13700 WER 500 240 S=8-9 (due of Dead Zone) (wb, wwdxc BC-DX TopNews July 3) PAPUA NEW GUINEA 3905 R. New Ireland at 1200-1220+ UT on July 6. YL ancr speaking briefly, then, interestingly, an acoustic/semi-classical guitar version of "Dixie" lasting until 1205 UT; five minutes of a male announcer (news?) was followed by assorted vocal music, including a selection by Men at Work. Fair but deteriorating. Not sure of language. (John M Wilkins-CO-USA, DXplorer July 9) PERU 4939.96 Radio San Antonio, 1131, "las noticias" read by a man and several mentions of "Lima", but no ID. Talk by a second man after 1138 UT. Fair to good. 7 July. (David Sharp-NSW-AUS, dxld July 8) 4826.55 UNID LA. [tentativelly] I heard the same station on 4826.55 this morning (July 04) at 0145-0225* UT with a preacher in Spanish, sometimes shouting. A few numbers of instrumental music was heard in between. SINPO 23222 with CODAR QRM. It may be R Sicuani in Sicuani 135 km south of Cusco, Peru which is reactivated after been off the air since July 2009. Actually I passed the station with a tourist bus on Nov 16, 2006. The station is located in the middle of a big village in the flat highlands at about 3.000 meters altitude with the antenna tower located on a nearby mountain. (Anker Petersen-DEN, DXplorer July 4) Anker, Thanks for the info. I made a recording tonight with my Perseus between 2255-2305 UTC but no ID was heard. But the station was positively IDed at 02 UTC by Torolf Johnsson at his summer QTH 20 km west of Uppsala.
