BENIN [and non]. TA on the west coast??? The 1566 kHz carrier faded out
rapidly between 0525 and 0532 UT, after having been pretty consistent for
the past half hour. Benin sunrise is at 0524 UT, rather incredible given
that this is pretty much the shortest night of the year.

BRAZIL 9645.343 at 0339- UT, Radio Bandeirantes, Sao Paulo July 6. Good
reception on this off-frequency channel in Portuguese. Bandeirantes heard.
Can also hear them weakly under Dr. Gene Scott on 6090 kHz.

CANADA 6069.951 CFRX-Toronto, 0814 UT, interview between two men about
some reality TV show, bumper music and into ad string at 0820 UT. Very
steady S=9+20dB signal but peaking at S=9+40, about the strongest I've
ever had them. 7 July.
6160.014 CKZU Vancouver, 0801 UT, CBC news by man, with several mentions
of "Toronto". In the clear and with no het, so presume (only for
geographical reasons) that this is Vancouver. HOWEVER, the grey line at
this hour favours BOTH St. John's and Vancouver. 7 July.

UT male and female talks in vernacular, rap in French, female in French
"Afrique", African music, male in French, High Life music back male.
Degrading, stronger than 2008 listenings, 24432.

5035.6 Radio ICDI, at 1731 UT June 26, presumed, French, talk by a man,
clear mentions of "Centrafricaine." Under heavy CODAR QRM.
7220 Radio Centrafrique, at 1828 UT July 6, French, really pleased to
hear this one, and at a good level (averaging S=9+30dB), with talk by a
man (news or similar) with several references to "Bangui." First time
heard, after several days of trying. 5035 kHz (presumed R. ICDI) also in,
but threshold. 6 July.

Nice logs. Radio ICDI is supposed to be on 6030 and new 3390 kHz, with R.
Centrafrique on 5035v and 7220 kHz. If you hear both 5 and 7 at same time,
can you tell if they are // ?
