In past days as well as Apr 2nd noted Voice of Russia program in Urdu 14- 15 and Hindi 15-16 UT on very high frequency of 17495 kHz, observed here on two different rxs. Was puzzled a bit of an intermodulation on Dushanbe, Chita, Irkutsk, or Novosibirsk site. But no formula works so far. [ 6 + 11.5 MHz, 9.9 + 7.55 MHz neither]. Dushanbe 17495 kHz is scheduled from 0700-1000 UT for VoRUS towards South Asia and AUS/PAC. So maybe the engineers let the tx on air still in the afternoon til 1600 UT ? Or just propagation test into South ASian subcontinent? (wb, wwdxc BC-DX TopNews April 2) GTRK Kamchatka in Russia has verified my reception report with a proper QSL card (f/d except for tx site, but that is unambiguous in this case) after 4 weeks. They also included a nice postcard featuring Petropavlovsk's local volcano, a very pretty view as long as the mountain is quiet. The transmission schedule of regional programmes is handwritten on the back: 0700-0730, 0810-0900, 1100-1130, 1310-1400, 1910-1924, 2010-2100, local time, daily except Sundays. I heard the station on 6075 kHz in Colorado, which is impossible in Germany due to Deutsche Welle 24/7. Their address on the envelope is GTRK Kamchatka ul.Sovetskaya 62 683000 Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskij Russia I send them a RR in Russian, but as the QSL is in English that should work, too.
