The 11735 kHz outlet is regarded as an international frequency for
coverage of the mainland and the vast Swahili-speaking region of East and
Central Africa. By the way, Zanzibar is the collective name of all islands
under the autonomous Revolutionary Government, part of the United Republic
of Tanzania. Zanzibar Island is now commonly referred to as Unguja.

UNIDENTIFIED Around 0540 to 0600 UT noted two UNID odd frequencies
stations on 9679.49 (maybe Jakarta-INS domestic?) and on 9689.75 (Nigeria
starts much later in the morning at 0800 UT).
9680.00 seems YFR, and 9690.00 covered by US Biblis in Kurdish and RRI
Bucharest French at 0600 UT.

U.K. 15480 new evangelical mission of IBRA Radio in Pashto, Dari, and
Hazaragi; towards Muslim countries Afghanistan and Iran. IBRA Radio via
VT-group Rampisham-UK, 500 or 250 kW, 76 degrees. Pashto 1430-1500, Dari
1500-1530, Hazaragi 1530-1545 UT. Hazaras living in rural areas speak
Hazaragi, an eastern dialect of the Persian language.

BBC on 12095 kHz seems to have some problems... since 1630 UT on March 2
... recorded message repeated ... this is the BBC, there are no programs
on this channel at present.

USA WWCR moved to 4840 March 1 at 0300-1200 UT, they had moved from 5070
to 4775 kHz during this time slot last month. They are no longer using
3240 kHz at 2300-0200 on transmitter 1, 7465 kHz is now used 2100-0100,
7490 0100-0200. (Station website)
WWCR had to vacate 3240 kHz due to an interference complaint from a
Military Auxiliary Radio system operation. We have received an
interference complaint from a foreign government's fixed operation
concerning WWCR's 5070 operation. We are currently communicating with that
government agency concerning this.
WYFR is now using 6875 kHz at 0300-1200 UT, ex 6915 kHz.

KJES heard Febr 2 at 1449 UT on 11715 kHz, into Spanish at 1600 UT, very
undermodulated and co-channel interference, had not been reported for
almost two months. Later the same day heard on 15385 kHz at 1905 UT and on
Febr 3 heard on 7555 kHz at 0205 UT.
