NIGERIA 7275.00 R Nigeria Abuja, at 0638 UT on Dec 04, English news
item on environmental protection, back here from 7350 kHz. Co-channel
Xinjiang PBS noted weakly in the background. This confirms James
McDonnell's observation which I did not read about until later this
morning.

7275 Abuja. I have just done a quick bandscan and discovered (presumed)
Radio Abuja Nigeria back on their old frequency of 7275 kHz. Heard today
Dec 3 at 0756 UT with the Network Service of Radio Nigeria. 0757 UT the
network programme finished but there was no ID and transmitter went off
the air. I will monitor further."
If Nigeria starts 7275 kHz around 0540/0600 UT as it did 7350 kHz, should
be uncovered by Tunisia when that quits at 0627 UT like clockwork. Also
Iran in Arabic is on 7350 until 0530 UT.

Channel 7275 was empty on Dec 9th at 0645-0720 UT. (wb)
9690 Voice of Nigeria, not bad at 0935 UT on Dec 1 with En talk on HIV,
ID and a little mx at 0945 UT, talk continued. Audio dropped down at 0959
UT, ID, then audio back up for En nx at 1000 UT. Surprised to hear them at
this hour.

PHILIPPINES 6170.4 UNID carrier. 6170.4, at 1323-1408 UT on Dec 06,
weak carrier hetting VOR Chinese 6170 kHz. This happens to be more or less
exactly the same freq where DZRM, R. Magasin, was reported in October last
year. I may be jumping to conclusions but very possibly this is them
again? Anyone else hearing this?

ROMANIA Google Earth imagery. Some high resolution place and Street View
option on Google Earth, but better to handle in Google Maps.
Google Street View feature on limited basis also in Romania now.
Whilst we don't get such great images of the Saftica antennas, the
Tiganesti antennas are very clearly seen from the roadside images.
