IBB Biblis and Lampertheim belong to US consulate Frankfurt/Main.<br />

Longwave sender Munich Erching [castle manor] on 173 kHz 1734 mb near<br />

Hallberg-Moos village, and broadcasting house of RFE/RL Munich - English<br />

Garden - , - did belong to General Consulate Munich Germany.<br />

Holzkirchen and Ismaning, as well as former Receiving station (Rhombics)<br />

for overseas reception monitoring at Ueberacker, 18 km west of Munich near<br />

Maisach/Sulzemoos village.<br />

Managed the facilities Funkhaus Englischer Garten, MW&SW transmissions in<br />

Munich Ismaning tx site since 1<strong>945</strong>, also at Erching since 1952, and also<br />

during erection phase in 1952 on LW 173 and MW Ismaning 1197 kHz in 1949,<br />

as well as RFE/RL site Holzkirchen on MW 719/720 kHz also.<br />

The engineering staff at Ismaning and Lampertheim also worked worldwide at<br />

IBB facilities Holzkirchen, Kuwait, Cyprus, but also in central Asia like<br />

in UZB, TJK etc., as well as on satellite and FM IBB relay gear, in Africa<br />

and in NE/ME on the erection phase of the MW facilities in Djibouti,<br />

Kuwait, UAE etc.<br />
