Today". A few musical selections but program mainly consisted of talks
about Malaysia. ID and "bye-bye" at sign off with light instrumental music
until carrier cut. Poor to fair.
(Rich D'Angelo/FCDX-PA-USA DXplorer Nov 21/23)
[SARAWAK non] 7590 Nov 22 at 2230 I am standing by for R. Free Sarawak
(Percuma), but there is only an extremely weak signal, and it gets no
better past 2300 or at 2325 UT, hardly any modulation detectable,
presumably Tajikistan site. The other airing, 1000-1100 UT on 15680 kHz
via Palau is a bit inconvenient for those who sleep.
(Glenn Hauser-OK-USA, dxld Nov 22/23)
{TAJIKISTAN tent.} 7590 Last European night Nov 22/23 the propagation
path was wide open from East Asia / PAC. Heard all Chinese/Koreans here in
Europe etc.
Heard also the R. Free Sarawak 7590 kHz for the first time on a level
above threshold. At 2245 UT Nov 22, S=9+10dB, talking in undoubtedly
Malay or similar vernac. Most probably via Dushanbe relay, as widely
reported.
(wb, wwdxc BC-DX TopNews Nov 22/23)
7590 tonight Nov 23 noted similar signal strength of R. Free Sarawak
broadcast via Dushanbe, deep fade of S=6 to S=9+10dB level at peak, here
in Germany. 2233 UT Nov 23.
(wb, wwdxc BC-DX TopNews Nov 23)
UNIDENTIFIED 6300 UNID, 2219-2224* Nov 22, man announcer with heavily
accent English talk just above the Algerian/Saharan clandestine station
with carrier suddenly cut. Fair.
(Rich D'Angelo/FCDX-PA-USA DXplorer Nov 22)
punching error of R Bulgaria 6200 kHz.
Update correction. - UNID 11715 {and 11925 too} in 8-9 UT slot noted often
an Unidentified Chinese talking station, S=6-7 fair signal here in EUR.
Thanks to Noel Green and Mauno Ritola, its the usual intermodulation of 70
kHz on two CRI Cerrik Albania outlets on 11785CRI En and 11855CRI Mandarin
kHz in our European morning 7-9 UT. Noted often in past half decade. (wb)
UNKNOWN SITE 5936.22NF (Clandestine). Radio Republica relay. At 0038 UT
Nov 15, 2010. Per David Crawford discovery, heard here as well, // jammed
5954.12 kHz. Does not appear to be a spur from the latter, as it's never
generated one before and nothing on the opposite side detected. Not
jammed, but very weak. Soon to be jammed now that word is out. Bye-bye.
(Terry L Krueger-FL-USA, DXplorer Nov 21)
