on air this morning Sept 28 when turning-on my Eton E1 set at 0400 UT,
signal S=3 very weak condition, just above threshold, could identify
Arabic language, at still local dark in Germany. At 0409 UT increased
reception, signal up to S=6 strength, from 0425 UT on S=7-9 level. TRT
Cakirlar in Turkish on nearby 11980 kHz was much, much stronger, like
S=9+20dB.
Arabic music til 04.59:58* UT, when TX at Al Karanah site switched off
midst on music broadcast.

The Rhein-Main Radio Club ("RMRC") of Frankfurt, Germany, will broadcast
two programs concerning Radio St. Helena Day 2009 on Saturday, Oct 9, 2010
using the 100 kW transmitting facilities at Sitkunai in Lithuania.
