MYANMAR 5920 Myanmar minorities programme had moved from 5915 to 5920<br />

kHz noted today for the 0930 past 1330 UT transmissions. Could be to avoid<br />

the evening B<strong>BC</strong> co-channel.<br />

Here is the complete schedule of the English transmissions of Radio<br />

Myanmar:<br />

9730 s/on 0230 UT with English px to 0330 UT, into Burmese px.<br />

9730 English ID at 0700-0730 then again Burmese to 1000 UT s/off.<br />

5985 close-down in Burmese at 1529 UT, into English ID 1530 to past 1615<br />

UT, thus s/off presumed 1630 UT.<br />

Programme consists largely of local and international news, sometimes<br />

followed by some slogans, weather and mostly music.<br />

Always makes a big het on 540 kHz.<br />

NIGERIA 7275.00 FRCN Abuja, at 0628-0652 UT on Sept 03, English news<br />

reports fading out on clear freq. Appears to have been reactivated, last<br />

time I heard them here was on 7274.88 kHz in B-07 period. Can't remember<br />
