I can give more info on the 1503 kHz.<br />

In the next few months the 600 watt transmitter will move to 1503 kHz. A<br />

1200 watt transmitter will be used for 1512 kHz, probably with a new<br />

vertical 1/4 antenna. And according to the station owner, they are on the<br />

air 24hrs and not 0700-2330 LT. But that is something I cannot verify from<br />

here of course.<br />

considerable absence they have returned again; news in French followed by<br />

Laotian songs till 1331 UT theme music; usual canned ID ("This is the Lao<br />

National Radio, broadcasting from Vientiane, the [Lao?] Democratic<br />

Republic. Our English language is broadcast twice daily at 1300 hours and<br />

2030 hours local time, which is 7 hours ahead of UT.<br />

It is transmitted on a frequency of 97.25 MHz. on FM"); "local news" (the<br />

President of India to visit Laos tomorrow; Laos won the most prizes at an<br />

ASEAN competition recently held in Bangkok; news of crop damages, etc.);<br />

1350 UT Laotian music and segment about a Buddhist festival held in Laos;<br />

1356 ID and "Now come to our International News"; 1400*. Very nice to have<br />

them broadcasting again!<br />

6130 10 Sep, 1444 UTC, Lao National Radio in Lao with talks by female<br />

announcer into several Laotian tunes. Station ID at 2201 UT after song<br />

ended by woman announcer with extremely laid-back voice. Constant S9<br />

signal with no QRM on this night.<br />
