Working Principle<br />
The HPU 500 integrates the <strong>Ascot</strong> <strong>Hybrid</strong> Energy System that permits<br />
the storage of the excess power produced by the DC generator and/or<br />
grid into the battery bank; When the batteries are fully charged the DC<br />
Generator STOPS and the batteries power the load. The HPU500 can be<br />
connected to solar & wind sources to achieve further reductions in<br />
fuel consumption & engine running hours.<br />
