CITAM NGONG <strong>REPORT</strong><br />
• Through Sunday pulpit altar calls, 144 people<br />
surrendered their lives to the Lord.<br />
• We received 231 people into church membership.<br />
• We baptized 143 believers.<br />
• Our Safari Groups grew to 41 scattered<br />
into 8 different Zones around Ngong and<br />
its environs.<br />
Missions and Outreach<br />
Approximately 50 students surrendered their lives<br />
to Christ through our schools outreach programs.<br />
36 youth surrendered their lives to the Lord through<br />
Sports Evangelism in Kiserian. We conducted an<br />
Evangelistic outreach to Namelok town within Kajiado<br />
and 51 people surrendered their lives to the Lord. We<br />
undertook two Prison visits in the year, one to Kajiado<br />
Men’s Prison and Machakos Women’s prison. We<br />
held a medical camp in November and 913 people<br />
were treated.<br />
Children’s Ministry<br />
Our DVBS program brought together 2, 700 children.<br />
Different groups came to learn from our DVBS<br />
program for the whole week. A team of 3 people<br />
from The Baptist churches of Democratic Republic<br />
of Congo and 10 people from different churches in<br />
Lodwar who went back to implement.<br />
Our children’s prayer day brought together 850<br />
children. Four children’s centers and 16 churches<br />
were represented. Two hundred and seventeen<br />
children gave their lives to Christ. We had 72<br />
children in the <strong>2015</strong> HOPES class. Out of this, 47<br />
children attended the camp and one child gave her<br />
life to Christ during the Holy Communion Service.<br />
44 of the children fasted for the very first time and a<br />
huge percentage of them participated in the Lord’s<br />
Table while 25 of them were baptized.<br />
Youth Ministry<br />
We held 36 services in eight High schools in Ngong<br />
and 120 students received Christ. We were able<br />
to establish stable Christian Union (CU) structures<br />
in 3 schools namely; Dawamu School, Serare<br />
School and Brookhurst International. We had a High<br />
Schoolers Camp in December <strong>2015</strong> at Brookhurst<br />
School whereby we discipled and mentored<br />
students. Safari Enter and Encounter 1 among the<br />
teens and Crossroads fellowship brought together<br />
200 teenagers. We have realized Spiritual growth<br />
among the teenagers and Youth at large.<br />
