CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
Casting Our Eyes Ahead
As we enter into a new year of ministry, it is yet
another season for planning. Our current strategic
plan has come to an end; coincidentally when God
has given us the theme “Behold an Open Door” (Rev.
3:8). We believe God has even greater things for this
ministry ahead.
Our next ten year strategic plan (2016-2025) is
themed: Building Capacity for Growth, Impact and
Sustainability. We are trusting God to move CITAM
from the current good to great performance. Thus
our revised vision is to become: A Community of
Believers Impacting the World with the Gospel of our
Lord Jesus Christ through the transforming Power
of the Holy Spirit. We have also synergized our core
values to make them more memorable and inspiring:
Excellence in Ministry; Functional Christian Families;
Integrity in operations; and Strategic Partnerships.
The Strategic Plan is focused on ten key pillars
developed with two tenets in mind: impact and
sustainability. An implementation matrix has been
outlined to ensure our ministries remain buoyant and
relevant in changing times. The challenge ahead
demands a focused and systematic approach in
pursuit of CITAM’s strategic goals. Thus the leadership
renews its commitment to prayer as we endeavour to
listen to what the Lord may be saying to us.
Finally
We are ever so grateful to all who work behind the
scene to ensure CITAM is where God wants it to be.
Special thanks to all the Trustees, Elders, Deacons,
Staff, and Ministry Workers for serving the Lord with
singleness of heart; to my wife Nancy for her tireless
support and prayers in this demanding ministry; and
to our members who have remained faithful even in
turbulent times. God has an open door for each one
of you. Even if it seems closed for now, remember
that God never reneges on His Word. Remain faithful
to Him; for He will remain faithful to you!
