The Heart of a Worshipper<br />
Then hear <strong>in</strong> heaven Your dwell<strong>in</strong>g place,<br />
and forgive, and act, and give to everyone<br />
accord<strong>in</strong>g to all his ways, whose heart You<br />
know (for You alone know the hearts of all the<br />
sons of men) (1 K<strong>in</strong>. 8:39).<br />
I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all<br />
my heart, And I will glorify Your name<br />
forevermore (Ps. 86:12).<br />
Worship Him With the Whole Heart<br />
How do we know we are worshipp<strong>in</strong>g with all<br />
of our heart? The Bible tells us how to determ<strong>in</strong>e<br />
the measure of heart worship <strong>in</strong> the sixth<br />
chapter of Matthew.<br />
For where your treasure is, there your<br />
heart will be also (v. 21).<br />
What you treasure is reflected by what<br />
occupies your m<strong>in</strong>d, will and emotions. If you<br />
want to know where your heart is, exam<strong>in</strong>e your<br />
m<strong>in</strong>d, will and emotions while you worship.<br />
What do you th<strong>in</strong>k about? Are you delight<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong><br />
Him?<br />
Reveal<strong>in</strong>g the Intents of the Heart<br />
When I had my reality check on the highway<br />
a few months ago, I th<strong>in</strong>k what probably broke<br />
my heart the most was that I thought I knew<br />
what my heart was like, but I was so wrong. The<br />
moment the Lord really let me see what it was<br />
like, I was shocked. I remember say<strong>in</strong>g to the<br />
Lord, "No, not me!" I was confronted with truth.<br />
I had to deal with it and give Him my heart.<br />
