Restor<strong>in</strong>g the Relationship<br />

the same relationship with Him as did those <strong>in</strong><br />

the house of Israel.<br />

He wasn't mean or uncompassionate. He<br />

used this to br<strong>in</strong>g her <strong>in</strong>to a right relationship<br />

with Him.<br />

She responded, "Truth, Lord, I am a dog, but<br />

even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall<br />

from their masters' table."<br />

She repented of her previous attitude and<br />

acknowledged the truth about herself. Her<br />

repentance now brought her <strong>in</strong>to a right<br />

relationship with Jesus. He commended her, and<br />

her daughter was healed at that moment. She<br />

came <strong>in</strong>to a right relationship with the Lord, and<br />

the result was her daughter's heal<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

Over the past number of years, I have<br />

witnessed many th<strong>in</strong>gs <strong>in</strong> the m<strong>in</strong>istry. I don't<br />

th<strong>in</strong>k anyth<strong>in</strong>g has troubled me more than when<br />

I see people desir<strong>in</strong>g the manifestation of God's<br />

presence but hav<strong>in</strong>g no desire to know God. They<br />

want what He can do for them, but they don't<br />

want Him.<br />

Too many believers have a relationship with<br />

God that is dependent on what He does for them.<br />

They love Him as long as everyth<strong>in</strong>g is go<strong>in</strong>g<br />

f<strong>in</strong>e, but what happens to the relationship when<br />

th<strong>in</strong>gs are not go<strong>in</strong>g so well? I encourage you to<br />

never come <strong>in</strong>to God's presence just because you<br />

need someth<strong>in</strong>g. Come <strong>in</strong>to <strong>His</strong> presence because<br />

you love Him and need Him.<br />

The Lord will use worship to br<strong>in</strong>g you to<br />

Himself, and worship will be an evaluat<strong>in</strong>g<br />

factor. <strong>His</strong> evaluations of us <strong>in</strong> worship are<br />
