Selected Music Events House Music Festival An incredible evening of creative, skilful and whacky performances involving the seven houses of Warwick school in competition for the coveted House Shield Monday 13 February, 7pm - FREE/ unticketed Come and Sing Mozart Requiem (from scratch!) Come and sing along with our boys, staff and all of the L4 or come to listen at 5pm. The event concludes with a performance from 5-6pm with the Foundation orchestra. Sunday 2 April, 2-5pm - FREE / unticketed National Concert Band Festival Enjoy an entire weekend of wind band and big band music with a different programme every 30 minutes from the UK’s best bands. Trade show; Gala concert Saturday night at 7pm with the Central Band of the Royal Air Force Saturday 8 – Sunday 9 April, 9.30am - 5pm - £7.50 per day; Saturday concert at 7pm - £8.00; concessions available
Brass Concert A noisy night of fantastic music from the brass bands and ensembles of Warwick School. Friday 5 May, 7:30pm, FREE / unticketed Summer Concert Put on a straw boater, charge your glass with Pimms and take your seat for Warwick School’s summer concert. An evening of popular classics and steaming big band jazz; perfect for a sultry summer’s evening. Friday 30 June, 7.30pm, FREE / unticketed Warwickshire Music Services joint concert Young musicians from Warwick Foundation and Warwickshire Music Service combine forces for an evening of unparalleled entertainment. Monday 3 July. Please contact box office for ticketing details Lower 4th Concert Every year boys entering Warwick Senior School are given an instrument to learn and enjoy for an entire year; this concert is the fruit of their blood, sweat (and tears!). Lower 4th Scheme Music Co-ordinator Louise Braithwaite will gently guide you through an evening solos and orchestral pieces played with passion and verve by this giant orchestra of 12 year old virtuosi.
