Major <strong>Spring</strong> Concerts<br />
A Big Big Concert<br />
The Warwick Foundation Symphony Orchestra, Warwickshire Symphony Orchestra and<br />
Canticum combine to perform Verdi’s Requiem (1874) ‘probably the most frequently<br />
performed 19th century choral work’. This high voltage programme also includes<br />
Shostakovich’s Festival Overture (1954) written to commemorate the October Revolution and<br />
Copland’s symphony for brass ‘Fanfare for the Common Man’.<br />

Easter Gala Concert<br />
The Easter Gala Concert is always one of the musical ‘must-see’ highlights of the year. This<br />
wonderful concert filled the Butterworth Hall for two years with stunning contemporary and<br />
classical masterpieces conducted by the talented music staff and guests. From Queen to<br />
Gershwin, the concert always delights and celebrates music in all its forms. With the opening<br />
of Warwick Hall this event is coming home and this year’s concert brings together the finest<br />
musicians in the Foundation in a concert that will really make the most of Warwick Hall’s<br />
superb acoustics.<br />
