Y 4 4 This plan recommends that school curricula and projects be developed to teach children the importance and value of water in the region. Especially important are issues of water conservation, where water comes from, and cultural values associated with water. Y 4 4 Establish region-wide and local public education programs to encourage a more complete awareness of the full range of water related subjects among the citizenry, and to enhance voluntary water conservation programs recommended elsewhere in this section. 2015 Steering Committee Comments This Recommendation was implemented by the OSE after 2004.
