Peru YMCA in Lima, Peru this July. Learn about<br />

another culture while enjoying hands-on<br />

local community service projects.<br />

Participants must be entering 6th grade or<br />

older to travel, and anyone under 18 must be<br />

accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.<br />

TEEN CAMPS<br />

TEEN ADVENTURE CAMP • Ages 12-15<br />

June 12-August 25 (no camp July 4)<br />

9 am-4 pm<br />

Experience what it means to be a teen at the Y this summer.<br />

Member: $290 • Non-Member: $320<br />

LEADERS-IN-TRAINING (LIT) • Ages 12-13<br />

June 19-August 18 (no camp July 4)<br />

9 am-4 pm (full-day)<br />

Are you ready for more than a traditional camp setting?<br />

Among peers, LIT's build skills in communication,<br />

teamwork, goal setting, decision-making, and more.<br />

Member: $240 • Non-Member: $270<br />

COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING COURSE WORK (CIT)<br />

(2 WEEKS) • Ages 13-14<br />

June 19-30, July 10-21<br />

9 am-4 pm (full-day)<br />

This two-week program is for those passionate about building<br />

general leadership skills by preparing for Counselor-in-Training<br />

Field Work. Upon completion, teens may apply for CIT field work<br />

which will make them eligible for paid employment through<br />

our Junior Counselors (JC) Program, which begins at age 16.<br />

Coursework includes assisting in curriculum building, service<br />

learning projects, emergency procedures training, First Aid<br />

and CPR training as well as Safe Sitter leadership skills.<br />

Member: $450 • Non-Member: $480<br />

COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING FIELD WORK (CIT)<br />

Ages 13-14<br />

Weekly, July 3-August 18 (no camp July 4)<br />

9 am-4 pm (full-day)<br />

This is a PREREQUISITE (CIT's who completed Course Work<br />

last year are also eligible for Field Work) program providing<br />

CIT's the opportunity to use skills they learned in Course<br />

Work in the camp and prepare them for paid employment.<br />
