THE Y: IMPACT AT HOME AND ABROAD Expand your experiences! Expand your world! Join the Y for a family service learning trip to the Peru YMCA in Lima, Peru this July. Learn about another culture while enjoying hands-on local community service projects. See page 15. $ $ $ $ TEEN CAMPS TEEN ADVENTURE CAMP • Ages 12-15 June 12-August 25 (no camp July 4) 9 am-4 pm Experience what it means to be a teen at the Y this summer. Member: $290 • Non-Member: $320 LEADERS-IN-TRAINING (LIT) • Ages 12-13 June 19-August 18 (no camp July 4) 9 am-4 pm (full-day) Are you ready for more than a traditional camp setting? Among peers, LIT's build skills in communication, teamwork, goal setting, decision-making, and more. Member: $240 • Non-Member: $270 COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING COURSE WORK (CIT) (2 WEEKS) • Ages 13-14 June 19-30, July 10-21 9 am-4 pm (full-day) This two-week program is for those passionate about building general leadership skills by preparing for Counselor-in-Training Field Work. Upon completion, teens may apply for CIT field work which will make them eligible for paid employment through our Junior Counselors (JC) Program, which begins at age 16. Coursework includes assisting in curriculum building, service learning projects, emergency procedures training, First Aid and CPR training as well as Safe Sitter leadership skills. Member: $450 • Non-Member: $480 COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING FIELD WORK (CIT) Ages 13-14 Weekly, July 3-August 18 (no camp July 4) 9 am-4 pm (full-day) This is a PREREQUISITE (CIT's who completed Course Work last year are also eligible for Field Work) program providing CIT's the opportunity to use skills they learned in Course Work in the camp and prepare them for paid employment.
