Provokativní a teprve druhá
hra mladého dramatika Patricka
Marbera Na dotek (v originále Closer)
slavila úsp�ch nejen v rodné
Anglii, ale byla p�edloni i pom�rn�
úsp�šn� p�evedena na filmové
plátno ve stejnojmenném filmu
režírovaném Mikem Nicholsem.
Možná si vybavujete slavný milostný propletenec v podání Julie Robertsové,
Natalie Portmanové, Clive Owena a Jude Lawa.
U nás tuto hru uvedlo nejprve Rokoko a p�ed nedávnem i Divadlo Na
Jezerce v režii Jana H�ebejka, který kus ozna�il za „psychologickou
tragikomedii“, i když v jeho podání hraje hlavní roli humor. Režisér
postavil hru p�edevším na hereckých výkonech, které si pojistil herci ze
svých film� – v roli pudového doktora pobaví Ji�í Machá�ek, jeho sokem
v lásce se stane pisálek nekrolog� Marek Daniel, Kristýna Liška Boková
využívá své tane�ní pr�pravy p�i scénách ve striptýzovém baru, zatímco
Lenka Vlasáková ztvár�uje úsp�šnou, ale v citech váhavou fotografku.
I když by H�ebejkov� tém�� doslovnému p�episu hry spíše slušel název
„Na lehko“, hra sama je natolik nosná a p�esn� odrážející sou�asnou
internetovou dobu, že neztrácí na zajímavosti. <
Není černá jako černá
Ecstasy Of Saint Theresa: Watching Black

Ne nadarmo odkazuje kapela Ecstasy Of Saint Theresa ve svém názvu
na vznášející se sv�tici. V rámci hudebních žánr� i postavení na domácí
scén� se totiž pravideln� vymykala standard�m.
Ani s vydáním dosud posledního alba Watching Black kdysi kvartetu,
dnes však již pouze dua, se vzorce chování nem�ní. Multiinstrumentalista
a maskot �eské klubové scény, Jan P. Muchow na �ele projektu skládá ze
synteticky zvonících fragment�, které
v mnohovrstevnatých odstínech
oživuje k�ehký, ale p�itom dramatický
a lámající se vokál zp�va�ky
a here�ky Kate�iny Winterové. Mén�
by tu možná bylo více, na druhou
stranu píse� Gun And The Stars
o dívce, která si vezme zbra� a jde
do noci skoncovat se svou minulostí,
vypovídá pr�kazný fakt. Na rozdíl
od radiových dramaturg� je zde
zám�rem autor� donutit poslucha�e
p�emýšlet a dostat se pod povrch. <
Sex, but no closer
Closer, Na Jezerce Theatre, directed by: Jan

Who doesn’t have problems with relationships
sometimes?! The characters in the play
called Closer know all about them – they
constantly feel their way through a web of
relationships full of half truths, infidelity and
jealousy, and sometimes they get themselves
into such a mess while the audience looks
on and laughs. Provocative Closer, only the
second play by the young playwright Patrick
Marber, has enjoyed success in its native
England, as well as being made into a film of
the same name the year before last, directed
by Mike Nichols. You may recall the web of
relationships spun by Julie Roberts, Natalie
Portman, Clive Owen and Jude Law.
This play was first staged in this country at the Rokoko Theatre
and recently at the Na Jezerce Theatre, where it was directed by
Jan H�ebejk. He described this piece of drama as a ‘psychological
tragicomedy’, although humour plays a major role in his production.
H�ebejk’s production is carried o� by the actors’ performances, and
to guarantee success he used actors from his films. Ji�í Machá�ek plays
the impulsive doctor; his rival in love, an obituary writer, is played by
Marek Daniel; Kristýna Liška Boková uses her dancing talent for the
scenes in the striptease bar, while Lenka Vlasáková plays the successful
but emotionally hesitant photographer. Although a better name for
H�ebejk’s production would perhaps be something like ‘lightly dressed’,
the play itself is so convincingly performed and so accurately reflects
aspects of the internet age we live in, that it grips the audience’s
attention from beginning to end. <
There’s no black like black
Ecstasy Of Saint Theresa: Watching Black

It’s no coincidence that the group Ecstasy Of Saint Theresa use the
name of a levitating saint in their name. As far as music genre and
position on the Czech domestic scene are concerned, the band often
rises above the every-day.
Even after the release of their latest album called Watching Black
today’s duo, the remnants of the original quartet, have done little to
alter the situation. With the master of many
instruments and mascot of the Czech club scene,
Jan P. Muchow leading the project, it is made up
of synthetically created fragments, whose many
shades of sound are brought to life by delicate
but dramatic and ripping vocals by singer and
actress Kate�ina Winterová. Less might have
been more here, on the other hand, the song
Gun And The Stars about a girl who takes a gun
and goes o� into the night to end her past, has
a definite purpose. Unlike radio dramas with this
type of subject, the artist’s aim here is to make
the listener think and go beneath the surface. <
