for the first six months of 2017 - our biggest 

yet! 

We really hope that you find something of 

interest for you. We offer a wide range of 

holidays staying in a wide range of hotels - 

from luxury, to those who want something 

more economical. We strongly believe that you 

get what you pay for. 

With Highcliffe, you will travel in luxury modern 

touring coaches with comfortable legroom, 

toilet facilities and modern safety features. We 

hope that once you have met our friendly office 

staff, travelled in our coaches, enjoyed the 

company of our drivers and noticed the 

attention to detail we make to ensure your 

holiday runs smoothly - you will want to come 

back again and again. 

We are a family business who have been 

serving the local area for over 20 years - since 

1996. Your enjoyment of your holiday is our 

driving motivation! 

Over the years we have brought in new 

innovations such as our extremely popular 

Home Collection and Return Service and 

always try to offer something for everyone.

3 A £40 per person deposit is payable to secure your seat. Your balance payment is 

due 6 weeks before departure. If you are booking within 6 weeks of departure full 

payment is required. 

4 If your holiday includes Home Collection we will write to you 2 weeks before 

departure to advise your collection time. 

We accept payment by cheque, 

cash, debit card & credit card. 

Due to the high cost of 

processing credit cards 

we have to apply a 3% 

administration charge. 

Home Collection Service 

Throughout the brochure you will notice that our Home Collection Service is indicated in the ‘Holiday 

Includes’ box. On these holidays you will be collected and returned to your home via a taxi organised by 

us. On these tours we operate a limited amount of pick up places ensuring that your holiday will start and 

end efficiently. To qualify for the free Home Collection service you must live in the 

area from Poole to Lymington and south of Ferndown. 

Home Collection from one address per room booked is provided free on these 

holidays - additional addresses may incur a charge. 

Pick Up Points 

Our Coaches 

We regularly upgrade our fleet of modern coaches to 

offer a high level of comfort and incorporate new 

safety features. Our touring coaches are specified to 

provide generous legroom making for a comfortable 

journey. Air conditioning is fitted throughout and all 

vehicles also have toilet facilities, comfortable 

reclining seats, armrests, tinted glass and seat belts. 

Our fleet is maintained independently to the highest of 

standards and we also take great pride in the 

presentation of every vehicle. 

Where our Home Collection Service is not included we operate a comprehensive selection of local collection points. We 

only collect from the local area so there will be no waiting at motorway services for other vehicles. The vehicle that collects 

you will be the only vehicle you will travel on during your holiday.

During our stay at the Queens Hotel your driver will arrange some excursions to the local area. These are 

included in the price of your holiday! Whichever way you travel you are assured of some wonderful Devon 

scenery. The hotel’s location offers the opportunity to take a stroll to the shops or seafront and return to the

DAY 1 Departing your local pick-up point in the morning (approx. 9.30am), we travel to Torquay stopping for lunch in 

Bridport/West Bay or Otter Nurseries before arriving at the hotel mid afternoon with time to relax in the hotel

DAY 2 Today we have a free day in Torquay. We shall drop you down in to town in the morning and return later to 

collect. The centre of Torquay has some excellent shopping, cafes and restaurants with an attractive waterfront 

area. 

DAY 3 Today we have an excursion along the edge of Dartmoor to Plymouth. We will be joined by a local guide for a 

coach tour which will include Plymouth Hoe, Devonport Naval Dockyard, Brunel’s magnificent Royal Albert 

Bridge and the Barbican area before free time in the city centre. 

DAY 4 We head home with a lunch stop at Otter Nurseries or Bridport/West Bay. Arriving back in the local area around 

3.30/4.30pm.

Leaving your local pick-up point in the morning (approx. 8.30am), we travel to London with a comfort stop on 

route. Arriving in London at around 1.30pm with plenty of time to start exploring the city. 

After your breakfast you are free to explore the huge range of attractions London has to offer. From shopping to 

museums, historic buildings to the London Eye, London offers something for all. In the evening you may like to 

enhance your break and take in a top class West End show. 

On the day of departure the itinerary alternates throughout the year. For the departures in March, June & Sept 

we shall leave the hotel at 1.00pm with a comfort stop on route 

before arriving back in the area around 5.00pm. For the

DAY 1 After being collected

10.00am we head for Portsmouth and 

the excellent Gunwharf Quays for a 

lunch stop before boarding the ferry to Fishbourne. Arriving at the hotel mid afternoon with plenty of free time to

DAY 2 During your stay at Bembridge you are free to make the most of your time. Your driver will organise 2 fun half 

to 4 day excursions for you whilst you are away, leaving the rest of your days free to enjoy and experience your

DAY 2 Fascinating day out as we head to Bletchley 

Park in Milton Keynes for a visit to the famous WWII code

of a busy day out at Bletchley Park, but there is much more 

than machines in a visit to this historic site. Check out the

estuary to Dartmouth. Plenty of time in this lovely town (one of our favourites!) and home to the famous Naval

National Memorial Arboretum 

The National Memorial Arboretum is the 

UK’s year-round centre of Remembrance; 

a spiritually uplifting place which honours 

the fallen, recognises service and 

sacrifice, and fosters pride in our country. 

The Arboretum is part of The Royal British 

Legion family of charities and is set in the 

pleasant Staffordshire countryside 

between Litchfield and Burton-upon-Trent. 

Visitors enjoy a wide variety of trees, 

many of which have a relevance to the 

memorials around them. Planting started 

in 1997 and there are already over 50,000 

trees planted over the 150 acre site. 

Conceived as a living tribute to the war 

time generations of the 20th Century, the 

Arboretum is a reminder for future

there are numerous gardens 

acknowledging the sacrifice of the civil

visit Bridgnorth, which is actually two towns, High Town and Low Town, 

connected by the steepest inland funicular railway in Britain, before 

returning to Bewdley, ‘the most perfect small Georgian town in 

Worcestershire’. 

DAY 4 Today we enjoy the beautiful countryside of this region. We have a short 

stop in Tenbury Wells, take a riverside walk to see the remarkable 

Chinese Gothic style Pump rooms before we head to the ‘Black & White’ 

market town of Ludlow. Plenty of time here in this lovely town for a 

leisurely lunch and sightseeing. 

DAY 5 We depart and have comfort stops including a main stop for lunch 

before arriving back in the local area around 4.00pm. Returned to your

Step back in time as we head for the Black Country 

for this fascinating short break. The remarkable area 

around Birmingham was at the heart of the Industrial

9. Can you change the price of my package after you have issued the booking 

confirmation? 

Yes we can, but only in very limited circumstances and not within 30 days of your departure. The price of your 

package can be varied due to changes in:-

offer of an alternative comparable package of equivalent or superior quality, if available, or an alternative package
